Privacy policy

It covers every app we make, and it is short because there is little to tell. In force since 13 September 2026.

On Google Play, Bell Rope apps are listed under the developer name C60 Limited.

Bell Rope does not collect your reading data. There is no account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to. The apps work with the phone in airplane mode.

Saved data and device backups

Your bookmarks, highlights, notes, reading position, reading-plan progress, settings and saved activity are stored in each app's private storage. Bell Rope does not receive them, and the apps do not sync them between devices. Depending on your settings, iPhone and iPad backups may include this data; Android backups and device transfers may include it too. Removing an app deletes its local copy, but a device backup may still hold a copy and may restore it if you reinstall the app.

What the app does not do

It asks for no permissions at all: no notifications, no location, no photos, no contacts, no microphone. It does not ask to track you, and it cannot: it contains no advertising software and no tracking software of any kind. It does not know who you are.

Purchases

If a future version offers a purchase, the app store handles the payment entirely. We never receive or see your card or bank details.

The text in the app

The Bible, the hymns, the prayers, the confessions and the reading plans are bundled with the app when you install it. Reading any of them requires no internet connection and generates no request to anyone.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from any third party.

Children

The apps are for a general audience and are not directed at children under 13. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children.

Changes

If a future version adds advertising, this policy will be replaced before that version is released, and the App Store and Google Play privacy information will be updated to match. This page always describes the version currently available.
